About Donations

Donations to Capital City Village are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, EIN: 27-0539952.

Your generous donations make it possible for seniors at all income levels to be Village members, supplementing membership fees and providing much-needed services.

Your donation will help support our efforts to help seniors age well at home. The scope of our supportive services includes:
  • a mix of enriching social activities and informational programs to help seniors stay connected to friends and informed about aging issues (health, technology, etc);
  • supportive services (transportation, technology help, minor home fix-its and more) provided by trusted volunteers (all volunteers are background-checked); and
  • referral to member-recommended professional service providers such as handymen, plumbers, home care providers, etc.

Capital City Village began operations in 2011, the first Village of its kind in Texas. We are part of a nationwide movement of community supportive nonprofits dedicated to helping seniors age in place with dignity, purpose, and self-determination.  (see also: Village to Village Network, our national partner; includes map of Villages across the country) Capital City Village offers a sliding-scale for membership so that Austin seniors of all backgrounds and economic means can experience the meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, friendship and support that CCV offers.

Capital City Village is part of a web of local resources for seniors and their families. We work closely with a number of other important senior service organizations to create as many aging support solutions as possible.
