Join Ginny Erboe, RN, MSN from the GIFT Project for lunch, while learning:
- How to identify your preferences, if there comes a time when you cannot speak for yourself
- How to choose a medical power of attorney
- How to complete your Texas advance directives
- The benefits of hospice care
- How to qualify for hospice services
- Who pays for hospice care
- The myths of hospice care
- The difference between hospice and palliative care
Experts will be on-hand to help you with healthcare planning forms and answers questions about Texas Advance Directives. The sessions and legal documents are free and available for everyone 18 years of age and older. This interactive seminar empowers participants to identify what matters most to them and take steps to ensure their wishes are honored.
