For our May 15, 2024 BYO Lunch at St. Matthew’s, Boomers Collaborative Foundation (BCF) founder Carol Lilly will tell us about her organization and its work to provide housing options for Austin seniors. 

BCF is an Austin-based nonprofit providing cooperative housing to seniors and shared working spaces to entrepreneurs of any age.  Their facilities and services are tailored to the special needs of ‘elder orphans’ -- single adults -- aged 55 and older, who have little or no supportive family or children.

Members share housing, studio and work space, storefront bistro / coffee shop, oversized commercial kitchen, retail gallery, event space, mass transit, and fleet transportation options—everything needed to promote well-being for a fulfilling, healthy, and sustainable urban retirement.
