Our next CCV lunch meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 27 at 12:15 pm. Yep, that's right, in July we will meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month! We'll get together once again in the Yarborough Branch of the Austin Public Library, 2200 Hancock Drive (just before Burnet Road).
Our presentation will be brought to you by some home-grown talent: This month the traveling team of Sue and Mart, Kay and Tom will share perspectives and insights from their recent trip to Israel.
They checked out most of the high spots: the Temple Mount; the ancient Masada fortress; the Sea of Galilee; military checkpoints; the Dead Sea. And they witnessed some of Israel’s imaginative agricultural production solutions as well. You won’t want to miss this unusual lunch meeting and presentation, so sign up early!
This will be another box lunch event, catered by Schlotzky's. All items cost $14, and you should bring this amount with you, in cash, to the meeting.
Sandwiches are served with cheese plus lettuce and tomato on toasted sourdough sliced bread; chips and a cookie are included. Choices are:
- Fresh Veggies and Provolone cheese
- Ham and Swiss cheese
- Roasted Chicken and Provolone cheese
- Cobb Salad with Turkey
- Orchard Salad with Chicken
Please bring your own bottle of water or other (non-alcoholic) drink with you.
When you respond to the CCV event notification, you MUST indicate your meal choice in the "Comments" box of your RSVP. If you do not, nothing will be ordered for you. Of course, you an bring your own sandwich from home, if you like.
